David L. Shepard, Inc. was founded in 1978 by its namesake, David L. Shepard. With its original location on Merrimac St in Newburyport, Massachusetts, Dave built the business to serve both as an auto body repair shop, mechanical repair shop as well as specializing in fiberglass yacht repair. Through loyal customers and a high level of quality service and commitment, David L. Shepard continued to expand, outgrowing the downtown waterfront space. In the fall of 1988, David L.
