Many strict criteria must be met in order for a collision repair facility to become part of the FCCN and certified by Ford.  The requirements fall in several categories including general business, customer service, facility, workshop, warranty, communication and information technology, estimating, equipment specifications, training and specific area-related technical repair ability. Following are some highlights from the comprehensive requirements list.

  • In business for five years minimum with verifiable credit rating and service history and specific liability insurance levels.
  • Communicate with customers regarding policies, repair completion, explanations of work performed, customer follow-up and confirmation of satisfaction.
  • Specific work capacity, signage, parking, secure vehicle storage, customer waiting area.
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty
  • Approved estimating system, OEM parts processes through authorized dealers
  • Specific Ford-approved equipment & tool list & designated, defined work areas

Network Benefits to Customer

You have probably chosen a Ford vehicle for a variety of reasons including safety, performance and appearance.  Should your Ford become damaged, you will want it repaired to its original condition.  Vehicle repair is complex, even for professionals.  When you use a member of the FCCN, you can be assured of the following:

  • Keep your Ford a Ford. A certified collision repair center will repair your vehicle using only original Ford Collision parts.  Ford engineers carefully designed your vehicle for optimum performance and safety and an FCCN member facility will maintain this high level of integrity.
  • Today’s vehicles are complex, and repairers need access to resources and information. FCCN member facilities have access to and support from Ford and its team of experts and the most up-to-date resources.
  • It is vital, especially during your vehicle’s warranty period, that your repairs are completed with Ford Collision parts. The use of salvaged or aftermarket parts may not be covered by your warranty should they need service in the future.

Shepard’s Automotive Center meets the specific program criteria required to be a member of the Ford Certified Collision Network (FCCN). When you choose a member facility, you can be assured that your Ford will be repaired in an expert manner, in a prescribed time period, using only Ford Collision parts.  Your vehicle will be restored to its showroom condition and operate in the safe manner as originally intended by Ford engineers.

The pros at Shepard’s Automotive Center value customer relationships and we seek to be your one-stop-shop for mechanical and collision repair.  We invite you to contact us online or call 978-465-5973, Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm.  Regardless of your repair, we will be happy to work with you to map out a plan that fits your budget and solves your problems.
