The Friends of the Poor® Walk/Run is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The beneficiary of this walk will benefit Immaculate Conception, Newburyport, MA. Volunteers will walk a planned route of 2.96 miles beginning and ending in the Church parking lot. Come downtown on Columbus Day weekend for the annual Fall Harvest Festival. Enjoy great food, live music, and fun for the whole family. Explore the downtown shops as well as craft vendor booths hosted by artisans from all over New England. Also featured during the festival is the 18th Annual Scarecrow Contest; open to the public.
